If you’re enrolled with a smart thermostat, you can opt out of an event at any time by adjusting the temperature on your thermostat or on your thermostat's mobile app.
This program helps manage energy use during the hottest days of the year. From May through October, your central air conditioner or heat pump may briefly cycle on and off during periods of high electricity demand. The adjustments are small, but together they help prevent energy shortages and interruptions, while reducing emissions from power plants. For more information, visit us below.
